We will transform the purple chairs into octopus

July 8
Blue Bell Ice Cream
Ice Cream Cones for Sale
On a Pirate Ship
Listen to Pirate Jake and sing the pirate song. Learn how ice cream is made and eat a sample of Blue Bell ice cream. Do some water experiments if there is time!

July 15
Splash
Splish Splash
Wave
Come ready to experiment with sand and water. What causes waves? Please dress to get wet and bring your beach towel.

Mark Seymour will be here to entertain us. Have you met your goal? There will be a drawing!
Remember your goal is 15 books read by July 21.

All elementary (K-5th grade) programs will be Wednesdays from 1-2 p.m. in the auditorium
We will read a chapter or two every week of Dark Day in the Deep Sea by Mary Pope Osborne and Sea Monsters by Mary Pope Osborne and Natalie Pope Boyce.

Blue Bell Ice Cream
Ice Cream Cones for Sale
Learn how ice cream is made and eat a sample of Blue Bell ice cream. We will have some water activities, so dress to get wet.

July 14
Summer Science Guy
Several science experiment books will be available. We will make slime, so dress for the mess!

Portable Picture Frame Day
All you need is: scissors, an empty CD case, double stick tape, a photo, a piece of scrap ribbon, a large Popsicle stick. Come out and let’s make a picture of you.

July 14
Jonathan Conner, Montgomery City-County Public Library, will entertain you with “Making Waves at the Library.”

End-of-Program Celebration
Join Melinda Mills, professional entertainer, as she shares her stories through music. *Reading certificates will be given to everyone who turned in their Reading Logs last week. Gifts will be given to those with the highest number of books recorded onto their Reading Logs based on age levels.

Deadline for books to count toward goal is July 16.
Awards ceremony will be held at the Millbrook Civic Center July 21 at 10 a.m. All children who participate receive a certificate.
We will also have entertainment, door prizes, refreshments and lots of fun!
Wednesday mornings are
Summer Program Family Movie Day. All movies start at 10 a.m. Pajamas, pillows and blankets are welcome! Bring a beverage in a closable container and we will provide the popcorn!
